Over 25 years ago, Marinus Vos started in Nederhemert with a new concept in the field of truck stripping. Over the years, this concept has grown into a unique company with an unprecedented service.
When Marinus Vos decided to sell Scania and Volvo used truck parts, he wanted to be absolutely sure that he could guarantee their quality. This meant a completely fresh approach to stripping the trucks and selling their parts. Used parts could only be sold if the new user could drive with them safely and for a long period. This was the guarantee and it still applies today.
In the late 1990s, it became apparent that the old premises at Nederhemert were now too small. The company’s constant growth was not the only reason for this. The fact of the matter was that the range had now expanded to include DAF. At the same time, sales of new parts were rising steadily.
Initially, an extra branch was opened in Hedel, in Hootkamp. The company decided later to erect new premises in Broekheuvelsestraat in Hedel, its present home base. In 2005, the company started using industrial premises in Zaltbommel and the stripping work has been done there ever since.
A few years ago, Marinus Vos handed over some of the daily management to his partner Hans van den Oever. This meant that he could concentrate more on specific parts within the company. In order to offer an even wider range and to offer clients an even better service, it was decided, in the long run, to incorporate the lighter segment of DAF, Scania, and Volvo company vehicles into its package.
